Freshman Biology!
This course will introduce you into the world of science and more specifically, biology. Biology is the study of life. We will start out the year by taking a look at how life interacts with the world around it. Learning about ecosystems will give us a good understanding of how everything works together. Then we will dive into ourselves and look at our genetic makeup. Learning about why we look the way we do will be eye opening. Finally, we will get a glimpse of our cells and how we were created.

Expectations:
The Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated.

All students must abide by this rule in my classroom. Attending school is important for achieving academic success. Makeup work will be provided however arrangements with me for tests or make up work must be the student’s responsibility. Students will be required to participate in one group project and one individual project throughout the year. Science can be very interesting and exciting. Lets do the best we can to get the most out of it together and have a wonderful first year in high school!
